Trace application concept · Defence logistics
EndPoint Trace is being shaped as an accountability and exception layer for equipment moving between stores, personnel, vehicles, and field operations - designed to complement the systems already in place.
complete and ready
Why EndPoint
Garment Check already reconciles expected items against actual returns and isolates missing or unexpected assets.
Bluetooth barcode scanning has been proven at approximately 70 items per minute in real operating conditions.
Routebook organizes work. Garment Check verifies results. Trace is designed to automate the evidence across handoffs.
The operating question
Trace is designed around a simple operational result: make the last verified custody event and kit status visible. Barcode, QR, or RFID events can support the workflow depending on the environment, while human confirmation remains available where it matters.
Issue-to-return loop
Confirm each kit, container, or equipment set is complete before issue.
Record the asset, custodian, time, and issuing location.
Preserve custody evidence as equipment moves between people, vehicles, stores, and field locations.
Reconcile expected assets against actual returns and isolate exceptions immediately.
Initial validation scope
Deliberate boundaries
This is an independent application concept seeking workflow validation.
The concept does not claim readiness for missions, weapons, sensitive routes, or classified materiel.
Any real defence use would require the appropriate hosting, cyber, privacy, procurement, and security review.
The useful next conversation
We are seeking a 30-minute discovery conversation with procurement, materiel management, logistics, or equipment-accountability professionals. The goal is specific: identify one unclassified workflow where reconciliation is still manual, delayed, or difficult to verify.
